Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.7
Hollow Lantern is a slower, atmospheric adventure where you guide a small figure through gloomy ruins using a lantern that reveals hidden paths. It leans hard on mood, and it earns it — the sound design alone kept us playing longer than planned.
Movement is a single virtual stick, and interactions are contextual taps, which keeps things simple on touch. Puzzles are gentle rather than brutal, usually about where to point your light, so it never turns into a frustration spiral.
It's not a long game, and some stretches are more walking than solving, but the ending stuck with us. Play it at night with headphones. The lower brightness actually helps the mood and saves a bit of battery too.
